Marketing Coordinator
Overview
From October 2022 to February 2025, I worked as a Marketing Coordinator with SMS Equipment Inc., one of the largest Komatsu machinery dealers globally, with over 45 branches across Canada and Alaska. My role involved collaborating with marketing business partners on event coordination, market research, graphic design, SEO projects, and web development in the construction, forestry, and mining industries. In addition to supporting marketing business partners, I was responsible for managing promotional store operations, building and onboarding the sales enablement platform, and managing event assets. For the promo store, I built databases to analyze product trends and outline consumer profiles. Next, I conducted customer surveys, created reports highlighting key insights, and developed strategies to increase customer satisfaction. Lastly, I sourced, designed, and coordinated promotional items. With the sales enablement tool, I built the entire platform for the mining industry. I created training materials and conducted 1-on-1 calls to achieve a 100% user onboarding rate on the platform. Ultimately, I helped facilitate over 25 million CAD in gross sales in 5 months with reps utilizing the new platform. Lastly, with the event asset management, I created a CRM-based order form to streamline the event asset ordering across all departments and 45 branches across Canada and Alaska. Also, I used data from inventory audits to formulate cost-saving strategies. Below are a few examples of my work.

Sales Enablement
Here is a screenshot of the interface from the sales enablement tool I created for the mining sales reps. I had organized and populated the platform with content so that reps had easy access to all the content needed for pitches.
Here is a screenshot of one of the training tutorial slides I created for the mining sales team. Along with creating PowerPoint tutorials, I provided 1-on-1 training calls and created video tutorials on how to use the sales enablement tool.
